So I dosed reef flux 4 days ago. I followed the directions exactly. I haven’t seen any changes yet. How long does it take before you know if it has worked ? 38AD5F2C-86F4-4F20-A834-84097ABB3766.jpeg

A week weeks. After 4-5 days you will notice the algae will lighten and turn translucent at the ends as it begins to die off.

I used it recently for GHA. It took 3 full weeks for it to be completely gone. I started seeing some results within a week and it was noticeably improved by 2 weeks.

Weeks, not days. Have a plan to export those nutrients
I have a red sea 250 with a Red Sea skimmer. I also run a reef octopus biopellet reactor and I’m running filter socks. I was going to skim it wet and monitor my nitrates and phosphate. I will also run some Gfo. I started adding some pristine today to help reestablish my bacteria.
