My cycle ended. And i have 53 gallon aquarium with a 44 gallon of water volume. I want to do a water change to remove the nitrate. Its my first ever water change. I got the brute trash container the 20 gallons. And i was wondering how many cups of tropic marin salt to get to 1.026? I have 1.025 in the system now but it seems its easier to get 1.026 then 1.025. Thanks.

Approx 1/2 cup per gallon is salt mix to RODI ratio. Don't try to get it exact first time. Go with 1/2 to 1 cup less than you need and add smaller increments to hit the salinity you're looking for.
