My fish are very spoiled. They’re getting 2 feedings and a sheet of dried green and red nori each day, one dry pellet food soaked in vita-chem, a frozen feeding with food below soaked in selcom and korallen amino acids and snacks in between consisting of Live copepods/baby brine shrimp and R.O.E/Arcti Pods. Every time I pass the tank I get them eyes..

In my 50 gallon I feed LRS Nano Frenzy and three different sizes of TDO Chroma Boost pellets daily. Once a week I supplement with Benepets Benereef and occasionally I also feed live baby brine shrimp if I remembered so save enough water from my water change to start them. Sometimes I throw in a couple Hikari Carnivore pellets or Algae pellets for the shrimps and crabs. Darnit, I think I need to update my answer.

We're continuing our topics pertaining to Aquarium Food, feeding, etc. today and you can't talk about feeding without talking about the food right!? Some of our fish are on a pretty basic diet, simple and not complex. Others have fish who are accustomed to a buffet, a smorgasbord of different types of food. Let's talk about it today!

How many different food items do you feed your fish?

Will you LIST everything that you feed individually for us?

I make my own food that contains more than 5+ items. Squid, Octopus, Crab, Mussels & Clams, soaked in SeaChem Prime & Selcon, with spirulina, ReefRoids & decapsulated Artemia. Put into a 1cc form and freeze.

I have everything automated. I use an Apex feeder where I mix 2 different foods...Reef Nutrition TDO and Ocean Nutrition Formula Two. Then I have an automated feeder for my Reef Nutrition foods...Arctic Pods, Beta Brine, Mysis Feast. I also feed the corals with ROE, Phyto and Oyster Feast.

I also add seaweed sheets periodically...

My fish have never been quarantined and no longer get sick. I've add fish straight from the LFS with Ich and they don't catch it....and I think it's from the food. The main food is raw oysters and wild salmon. Then I fit something else in like baby octopus or shirmp - whatever is at the seafood counter. I have a 180 gal with a couple triggers, hippo tang and a few others. I spend ~$25 on this and it lasts about 4-5 months. Since I started feeding this the colors of the fish are amazing and the scale patterns pop. The hippo's skin looks like blue velvet.
