Little more info , are you going to do DIY or are you going to buy a fixture? What price range are you looking for? What type of corals (if any)?

I would go with like 18 LEDs depending on the look you want I
Prefer 20k that would be 12 royal blues and 6 cool white... This could be done off a single driver meanwell 60-48d and dimmable but you wouldn't be able to separate the 2 colors... So you would be
Looking at 2 drivers.... Just guessing i don't think you would be in it for more than $150 or so and have full control...;) hth

Yeah, also there are a ton of driver controllers out there that are really easy to use but the more bells and whistles the more expensive. There are a few DIY sites designated for aquarium lights, sorry I don't know of any off hand.

How about this:
5 NW XP-G's Cree 3W ~$25
10 RB XP-E's Cree 3W ~$40
1 Meanwell 60-48D ~$34 For the RB's
1 TRC-040S105DS $38 Thomas Research, found at Nanotuners
Heat Sink from HeatsinkUsa ~$20

You're in for about $160. Each color is dimmable, and if you want to add more LED's to each string you can.
You'll need another 20 to 30 bucks for potentiometers/power supplies, wire, and maybe a hang kit. You'll also have to drill and tap the heat sink and do some soldering

edit: A lot of people have been moving from CW RB 1:1 ratio to NW RB 2:1 ratio. It's completely up to you what you prefer. I recommend seeing a tank under each in person.
Pictures won't due justice.
With either choice the meanwells will drive anywhere from 8-14 LED's and the Thomas Research will drive 4-10 LED's. Good luck
