My last tank upgrade was from a 100gallon to 250. I had a sandless tank and changed back to sand just to be able to keep wrasses. I actually had a leopard in my 100 in a dish of sand that he would sleep in. I love wrasses. Not only are they beautiful fish but most of mine do a job.
so currently I have
1 cleaner (keeps fish clean)
1 male 1 female blue leopard ( picking at rocks and sand all day )
1 yellow coris ( currently has taken up glass surfing ) lol
1 male bird ……my current favorite …what a cool fish. He is constantly buzzing around tank. This fish has always fascinated me, but I had to wait to have a big enough tank to do it. He hasn’t touched any snails or crabs yet. I do feed really heavy.
Plus, he was last fish added to tank so I believe that has curbed his aggression.
I have had my challenges with Radient wrasses, I wish I had one already in my tank established because I don’t think I could try it now they are so timid. I am fully stocked.
