How many of you have at least one Wrasse in your reef tank?

Awesome shot. How is viviens? Did she grow much? One of mine grew slow and one fast

She is a great wrasse. Always out. Has doubled in size. No one bothers her and she doesn't bother anyone. Perfect wrasse. Will be moving the yellow coris from my tank at work to home. Hope there aren't any issues.

No Wrasse as I planned to add skunk shrimp into my tank. Heard Wrasse is a shrimp killer.

Only a few are shrimp eaters. Cleaners are avoided. I have had many wrasses together with cleaners. I believe they’re avoided as a food source due to how much of a role they actually have. You can always stick to the Cirrhilabrus and Paracheilinus genera (Paracheilinus are only a good choice if you have a 4’+ tank). These guys are all planktonic feeders in the wild and do not feed on shrimp.
Smaller Halichoeres will also only go for smaller shrimp such as sexies and anemone shrimp (If they have an anemone then I believe they are also avoided).

I have a Dragon Wrasse (Hawaiian Rock Mover) and he's going bah bye! I love watching him, he's awesome to watch, but he's destroyed too many corals. He's gotta go. I think I have a new home for him, so, will be doing my best to get him to a new home (in a predator tank) where he can move all the rocks he wants and not hurt anything.

My lfs has a yellow corris and a mystery wrasse right now but I'm pretty full on fish. I have a melanarus tho no complaints except he spends the entire day glass surfing. Think he kind of went nuts when he was in qt

My LFS has a gorgeous mystery wrasse right now too and I really, really wanted to take him home - but they also finally got in another blue spotted jawfish, which is one of my wishlist fish I had already earmarked that money for. I also have a melanurus - wish I had room for a couple more wrasse but I'm hitting my max on fish as well. (I see a good excuse for starting up another tank eventually... lol).

I also have a melanurus - wish I had room for a couple more wrasse but I'm hitting my max on fish as well. (I see a good excuse for starting up another tank eventually... lol).

Yea ideally I'd upgrade a year or so from now. Need me a 4' at least so I can have a foxface a few anthias another wrasse and possibly a smaller tang. I'm rocking 53 gallons right now but I'd like to double that
