How many tanks do you run? FW or Saltwater, even Macroalgae to Mangroves?

I am cycling a six gallon Pico, another month it will be ready. BRS has Hippos right now. Hippos are a favorite, right behind Crocea. I really need to up my Pico game. Thank you for the links.
Super excited to see that build and what you do with it.

BTW mine is one of those recent-ish batch of ORA Hippos, and has been picking up some good greenish tones. @minus9 and I picked them up together, he was kind enough to let me have the one with more green speckling. It started out more as a few iridescent patches, and now the whole mantle in between the stripes is definitely a fuller green. Not solid, more translucent/iridescent on top of the background zoox color. If you're getting a non-WYSIWYG hippo, full disclosure, the other ~5-8 that were there were some pretty 'regular' hippos. Still beautiful IMO as that's what a hippo is supposed to look like, and I would have been happy with any of them, but green was present in batch but a rarity. Maybe 1/4-1/2 were high-stripe-count.

Thanks for the heads up.
Maybe I will wait around for a Squamosa.
Crocea are too temperamental in newer systems ime.
How are you supplementing?

I feel like there is so much more to look at even though it’s wayyy smaller than my other tank.
I feel this way also. I spend quite a bit of time watching the little critters. I recently had to tear down the reefer 170 in our bedroom and I miss not being able to watch the tank before going to sleep. Also the lights coming on in the AM were my notice that I should think about getting up. I think I'll start researching today. My Gal is gonna love this idea :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

They are all so lovely. You can hop from viewing area to viewing area. I would probably never get bored or get anything done.

Just get you one of the tiny tanks like mine and put it on a nightstand! Whole lot less money and fuss, but still so beautiful.

Do you have a build thread for the 120 FW?
High tech as in Co2 and great lighting? I would love to see it.
Yeah, high lighting, CO2, and ferts. Stem plants in the back will eventually reach the surface....this reboot has only been up for about a month so lots of growing in to do lol. Currently has a school of Congo Tetras, Cardinal and Neon Tetras, 1 angel, 3 Pearl Gouramis, school of Cory catfish, and a school of Synodontis (cuckoo) catfish.

I currently am only running 2 tanks. A 75 gallon Rio Negro biotope and my 150 gallon mixed reef. I have plans for a 800 gallon in the future. I'm not sure if it will be a Lake Tanganyika biotope or a saltwater shark and moray set up.

I had no idea hobbyist were running so many multiple biotope theme systems. It's really amazing. Boy have I limited myself.

One, and if I ever have more….slap me!
Famous last words.

I was going to take my Nano down once my other tanked completely cycled. Yeah that's not happening now.
Spouse is going to be THRILLED, not.

Consolidated to 3 tanks: 450g mixed, 150g SPS, and 90g nem/frag. Just started a 20g to rescue some fish so it doesn’t count (yet).

Thank you! Yeah, all freshwater AIs. Allows me to dial in the spectrum (which is more for the fish appearance than the plants).

How many tanks do you have up and running? The system could be a bowl, pico and up. Any tank with actual flow, and lighting of some sort.
Three one fresh which is still empty since I lost all 17 of my cichlids, and two salt one 40 full of mushrooms and one clown also full of Coraline. Second is a 90 with a 40 sump. It has 5 fish, and since yesterday 18 snails 3 groups of 6 of different types , and one tuxedo urchin

You're a work in progress. :)
Mushrooms are so underrated, I have adored them since they hit the market. Aquasd has true Tongan blue ones right now, but too expensive.
