Hi! So I've been considering a kind of goby for my 5g Macro Tank and came down to 2 options. I'm looking at a pair of Green Banded Gobies or a couple Candy cane Gobies (Trimma cana). Does anyone keep Trimma Cana? How active are they and do you think a group of 3 would do well in a 5g? Thank you

I've got one in my tank, and see it (when I see it) anywhere along the back wall.

Then again, I don't see it all that often, as my tank's a 220 with plenty of rock.

Don't know how they are as a pair, but would probably consider 5 gallons tight but doable.

I have had a few in a 5g. Unfortunately two did not survive long. Not sure why. The last was with me a long time and my current guy is going on 2 years. I would think three would be fine. Or maybe one and a pair of the gobies. I love my neon goby. I wanted a pair, but that did not work out so well. The two I got were not a pair. I have one now. :(
