2015 I spent $269 for three Mars units with free shipping. Still using them today.
I am really surprised at how many people are using Mars Aqua lights, it would be great to see tank pics from more people!
Did you get those off of the Noop store or aquariumlowcost? But, but, but they are not safe, they will burn your house down, etc...
To answer OPs question, $600 for 6 Noopsyche 7K Pro IIs (wont use all of them). Plan to add 2 Sunblaster T5 units down the road, so another $100 or so.

Awesome aquascape the amount of room for the fish to swim looks awesome and the coral cover is really good!About $6-7k. 3 radion g4 pros on one tank. The other tank is using 3 hydra 52 HDs within an Aquaticlife hybrid unit.
Out of interest, what are you running your orphek at? Mine are on 11 hours a day and ramp to a peak of 80% on blue and greens and I think 40 and 60ish on white and red channels.I have 5 Orphek Atlantiks plus 4 - 48” bars on one tank and other two have hydra 26 hd
Do the math ............. roughly $5500 yikes
I was going through some of the older threads I have saved and stumbled across this older survey from 2013-2014 which is on the amount of money people spent on their aquarium lights per unit.
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/how-much-did-you-spend-on-your-led-fixture.101546/
I thought it would be fun to try and replicate the survey today to see if any of the numbers have changed, considering the many advances in LED technology in the last 10 years. I read through the first 4-5 pages of responses in this thread and was amazed at how many people were building diy kits from RapidLED and other sources. I know that around that time I was doing the same thing, but it seems like now less people are doing diy lights than they were previously.
Anyways feel free to take this survey and maybe comment on what lights you have and what size of tank you've got or any other information you think is relevant to the issue.
~450 for a Kessil A360x, another hundred for the Wi-Fi dongle. I don't feel so bad after seeing what other folks have dropped lol. Thinking about possibly upgrading down the road with an Aquatic Life hybrid fixture.
I used to have a kessil, it was a great light until the fan broke one day and I couldn't get a cheap replacement! It seems like from the time of the last survey to know the number of people running kessils has dropped significantly
Maybe it's just the math nerd in me, but I would be much more interested to know how much do you spend per square inch or square foot or even per gallon to light your tank. Someone who spends $200 on an AI Prime to light a 5 gallon cube is spending much more per square inch than someone who spends $1200 on a fixture to light a 120g tank.
I spent approx. $1000 to light a 4x2x2 120g tank. Rounding to the nearest $1 that's roughly $8 per gallon or $1 per square inch or $125 per square foot.
