Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help with the amount of sand I will need to order for my WB 100.3 . The dimensions are as follows:
  • 36″ L x 24″ W x 22″ H
I was not sure what depth to keep the sand bed, I personally don't like too deep a bed, but at the same time I do want to be in line with what is going to work the best. I am planning on using the Fiji Pink Arag Live Reef Sand, but again, I would take advice on that, should I go for a large size sand? Should I mix 2 kinds? I will be keeping corals that need good flow, so I don't want to have to fine a sand I also want a goby so something for that fish to burrow in.

My thoughts were 3 bags, so 60lbs? Or do I need more? I will be using Live Rock for filtration also.

I know this isn’t my thread but here is a picture of 80 lbs of Caribsea sand. 4 20 lb bags.
