What are some circumstances that cause you to change your aquascape up? (new coral, new fish etc.)

How often are you changing your aquascape up and how involved is it? (little or massive changes etc.)

I recently redid my aquascape in my 24 gallon cube. When I built the new aquascape, I kept in mind that I might want to change it up from time to time. Therefore, I built three similar but different rock formations. These can be re-arranged as needed. In addition, I have two small island rocks that can be moved or turned as needed.

As was already pointed out, corals grow and sometime neighbors don't get along. This goes for fish as well. If someone becomes a territorial bully, sometimes re-arranging the furniture can tamp the aggression down.

I don't intend to often redo my aquascape, but I take comfort knowing I can if I want.

I have changed mine a few times now. I also tweak the rocks in between the big moves. I think honestly it’s pure boredom on my part but I like to believe there’s more involved in it lol. I did it this last time in hope for more realistic look and more real estate. I did glue some together this time to prevent future moves.

Just getting back into the hobby, but I had to move a 90 gallon to 4 different houses over 2 years. I finally have a more permanent situation, so I am currently getting ready to cement everything and never touch it again.
