Just curious to see how often people feed their chalices and what kind of growth you're getting. I usually feed them by putting them in a cup (I have small frags) and they are quite happy with that. How often do you spot feed your chalices?

I feed them with a turkey baster, just like all my other corals. Let the food sit on them for at least an hour & eat to their heart's content. I'm always surprised what size pieces they can eat.

I tried to spot feed my watermelon once but it wouldn't take any food. I've never even seen feeding sweepers out on a chalice before.

Jesse I never saw any of mine either until late one night I saw my watermelon with some about an inch long. There were real clear and hard to make out though.

Its crazy....I had a LTA split and the other started to move. Of course right at my nice chalice and tri-color mini colonies....Once that LTA got a few inches from the chalice, it starte the other way. I wonder if those powerful sweepers chalices are known for turned it aside? Just thought I would share!
