So I hate going to the store again and again. But I had recently changed my skimmer pump to a realy nice one. Need less to say it was loud. So I grabbed my syringe I used for feeding. Hacked a section off with my pocket knife and connected it to the line. I could move it up and down to tune the noise and bubble size so I took note of where the best positions where. I then tossed some cotton balls In it loosely and my wife is happy now

Im confused did you then take the top part out? Otherwise your skimmer production is going to be next to none?
