I have a little 7 gallon tank with a Fluval light on it and an air stone just to grow copepods. I have a handful of chaeto and some biotube things as well. The tank just started getting covered in this layer of reddish brown stuff. Diatoms? Without filtration how do I clean in there?! I'd hate to lose them because they are definitely breeding and growing well.

I would just scrub it off and net it out. Or even scrub it and turn on a little diy filter.
