I am moving everything over from my 10 gallon to my new 40 gallon. I have many zoas that I want to attach to rock work but would like the ability to frag here and there to make a few bucks when they grow a bit more.

Should I keep the mother colony not attached so I can frag it when needed and just glue a frag taken from the colony to the main rock and let that frag grow out?

Also, can I cut duncans at the stem? There is some bubble algae at the base. Rather than scraping it off and risking bringing the algae to the new tank im thinking of just cutting the stem with a bone cutter.

Lastly, what corals can withstand peroxide dips? I know that zoas can but can acans and ricordea?
