EDIT: 57 replies and still no answer for my question.

So everything I’ve read and experienced with my scrubber says it works best when water is at the bottom of the housing under the media. I have experimented with and without water and scrubber definitly works better when 1 inch or so of water is at bottom of canister. My problem is this water evaporates with days usually and I run 2 of these dual co2 scrubbers which means 4 canisters need to be unscrewed and filled every few days. It’s gotten to be a hassle and a mess. I notice on bottom of canister is a black plastic screw cap and on top of the unit has a few holes with Plugs in them. My question is has anyone figured out an efficient way to inject water into these brs scrubbers without having to unscrew canister. I wonder if I could get some adapters that will allow me to connect syringe to bottom of canister and push water up into it then pinch hose? Or possible from the top thru one of the holes? Anyways any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

My ph has been lower causing alk consumption to be less causing alk to go way up and now my Dkh is almost 1.0 off of what I keep it at

No I do not I pull air from 1 1/2 in pvc thru side of wall from outside
Try the recycling. It’s also helps the CO2 media last for months.

My way pulls fresh air thru skimmer and introduces very very low co2 to the water from outside. I don’t want to go back wards

I also use apex to control ball valves to open and close off air thru scrubber
