I just purchased ultra sea fan, ultra min-f, ultra clam. AKA the gorgonia system. What I'm curious about is broad cast feeding. Direct feeding is too much of a PITA. :)

I have a 50 gallon system. 30 gallon display tank and 20 gallon sump. The tank is not stocked heavily with coral yet. Just a orange tree sponge, blue berry sea fan, gonipora, hammer coral, and some misc softies.

How much of each product should I use to make a feeding solution and how do I mix it together?

Do I put the all of the solution in at once or a set amount?

How often should I feed the corals?

Sorry for all the questions. I did a lot of research first, but couldn't find the answers.

I broadcast feed about every other night a few hours after lights out. I use KZ Coral Snow with either cyclopeez, Oyster Feast, Coral Frenzy or ZoPlan. I swap them up. I turn the skimmer off, sometimes the pump too with only the powerheads going for a couple of hours. The Coral Snow holds the food in suspension and works well for me.

Hi
Thanks for your question for that we are here at R2R

I hope you also get the MIN D or MIN S Solution cause that you need also

i make it our Azoox Tank on this way

60 % Seafan
20 % Min F
20 % Clam

mix together and add MIN D to this powder till you get a
paste -- then add seawater from your tank and dilute this paste
till you can suck it in a syringe
from this mix i add 10 ml/26USgal/daily 2 x minimum
the rest of the mix i freeze it in the syringes

rgds claude

Thanks for the instructions. Just a few more questions though.

60% Seafan + 20% Min F + 20% Clam = Table spoon? T Spoon? What is the total volume of powder used?

After I mix everything together and get it in a syringe do I turn off all filters but a power head and insert the mixture into the tank?

Do I "have" to use min-s or min-d?

*** you can use a t spoon or a knifetip

After I mix everything together and get it in a syringe do I turn off all filters but a power head and insert the mixture into the tank?

*** no add it in the system and let run the complete technical equiptement.

Do I "have" to use min-s or min-d?

** you can use both maybe you use MINS
