Hi I would love to add a small school of 4 blue chromis but have always heard not to add more than 1 fish at a time. Is there anything I should do to prepare for this? Add more bio media? Dose ammonia?

Thank you!

How big is the tank? How many fish do you currently have? Also how long has it been set up?

Its a 40 breeder, with a 10gallon sump. Currently have a 2” clownfish, 3” chalk bass, and 1.5” yellow damsel. The tank has been up for a little over 8 months.

How much live rock? Sounds like you should be fine adding them without issue. Don't over feed to compensate for more fish, slowly add more food as needed with each feeding and see how your nitrates and phosphates react.

Ok. About 30# LR and 2” shallow sandbed, also have some other matrix media in the sump as well as a refugium frowning chaeto.
