Great and awesome build!!!!!!

Love how you built your overflow not to mention about 500 others things.
Reefing is a roller coaster ride for all of us but we get back up on our feet.

Now, I understand why you went with the cal. reactor and the way you run it is an absolute no-brainer, including eliminating a lot of parts that can fail.

You are truly gifted in being a great reefer, builder and loving your family.

I must admit when I hit your post on your family loss my heart sunk in sadness. We can tell that you guys are a very close family and we are here for you too. Your family is in all are thoughts and prayers for healing and holding tight to each other and God.

So far the zeovit has been going ok, I only say ok because my nitrates went back up to 12. Not entirely high but higher than I like. I noticed today that my setosa had some flesh peeling so I need to get it under control. So I have turned the reactor on all the time as opposed to the 3 on 3 off. I'll test nitrates tonight to see if it has dropped any. I also need to add another 500ml of stones to be at my recommended amount, those are rinsing as we speak.

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with updates on this like I wanted. I've been insanely busy remodeling my computer room into my oldest daughter's new bedroom and changing a few things in her old room for when her sister is born in a few weeks.

As for Zeovit, my nitrates went up to 16, at this point a couple pieces in my tank started to react negatively so it was time to act. I am still using Zeo but I dosed nopox again to get the numbers down. As of last night my nitrates are down to 4 after 5 nights of dosing 20ml of nopox daily. I'm thinking my reactor for the zeostones is too small. I have a avast marine vibe coming to try. If the same thing continues with the different reactor I think I'll throw in the towel with zeovit, at least with the stones.

One product that I'm using from them that I love is coral snow. I dose 5ml twice a week, and you know how your tank looks the day after putting fresh carbon in your tank? Well that's how my tank looks with coral snow, it's awesome haha. Ill continue using it even if I decide to leave the Zeovit system.

I was starting to get a small cyano outbreak so I cut my dosing amount of zeostart down alot, from 1.5ml daily to .5ml daily and the cyano is gone. The corals that haven't been affected by the nitrate levels are looking as good as ever, so if I can get Zeovit to keep my nitrates down I'd be super happy with it.

I'll try and get some pics this weekend.

I really like the coral snow too. I use it everyday but half dose and using it since my last tank. I dose it just like that or mixed with foods and it really clears up the water column. How long you are using zeo? Mine took almost 2-3 months before I saw my NO3 to dip below 20ppm. Now, I dose NO3 ...lol. I also observed without dosing any carbon source my tank performs better and don't show cyano or dino. Now I don't even run GFO and my PO4 stays in 0.03 range. I don't even dose probiotics regularly just once after water change and once in the middle of week.

Do you happen to have vermidth snails in ur tank? The little tubes that spit out spider mans webs? I read somewhere that coral snow is the only way to kill them and well if u don't have any I might try spray snow out there is also a thread on here on how to make ur own coral snow at about half the price that many people have said works
