Hydra32 do I need diffusers? And what is the length of the wires in the hanging kit?

I should be getting my lights soon. Should I get diffusers/shades for my hydra32? My concern is more with the disco effect I’ve been reading about and light spilling into the room.
Also I plan mounting them from my ceiling and was wondering if anyone knows the length of the mounting wires? The wires the hold the rail above the tank. I’m concerned that The drop ceiling won’t hold the weight, better safe than sorry. So I probably neen to run the wire to support beams. Maybe at different lengths to each beam.
