This wasn’t here yesterday. Does anyone recognize the little white thing on my lobo?

It’s a bit hard to see but all I have is my phone and a clip-on filter lens.

Does it look like part of the skeleton? Hard to tell from the photo.

It almost looks like an anemone of some sort. Not necessarily an Aiptasia, though. Where did the rock come from? How about the coral?
It’s just a reef saver rock from my lfs. Been in there for about a year now. The lobo is from wwc.

Does it retract if you poke at it? It could be majano, but the pic isn’t clear enough to be certain. Any other characteristics you can describe that might be helpful for identification?
Forgot to mention earlier but it seams to have melted away. So whatever it was it didn’t make it

I don’t know what it is, but we can rule out some stuff. It is definitely not a majano (anemonea manjano), as those have bulbous green tentacles.
My first thought was that it is growing a new head. However, this is probably unlikely, as lobos don’t but extratentacularly.

PS that’s an acan pachysepta, not a lobo.
