Basic, really not sexy at all, but dropped a dozen times in 20+ years. Each time bring on next trip to LFS comparison to their refractometer, and 'yep you good'....

I’ve used this one too for many years and it’s not failed me yet. I tried a fancy refractometer once and I didn’t like having to calibrate it. This cheap thing is about as simple as it gets.

Been using a Oakton Cond6+ conductivity meter for a while now and it is amazing. Holds calibration, reads quick, and is versatile. I can quickly check 3 tanks, mixing station, and Kalkwasser without having to wonder if it accurate.
