I’m looking at some tangs and Foxface’s. I think a Hippo tang is to big for the tank but what do you think? Are they reef safe? Are they aggressive? Are they hard to feed?

thanks!

Perfect time to add a Copperband! Makes sure it eats at LFS before you bring it home!

Very hardy. Trick is to get them established in tank before all other fish.

Recommend you get a Fire Shrimp. Shrimp hops on Copperband’s back if he ever gets any parasites! Very cool And Copperband stays very healthy.

I have a copperband butterfly in my tank and I have the same equipment you listed. Had him probably a year and no issues.

copper bands are difficult to feed. but once they start eating they can thrive. they do get stressed easily and can stop eating so, no aggressive tangs in future. Also, they can control aptesia but can nip on some corals..
what all fish do you currently have?

Look at my tank pic above. Mine got along with 3 different tangs.

The tank is not set up yet, but I’m planning on have one Foxface, Gobies, Blennys, and shrimp and snails. Would the foxface be to aggressive?

no, they thrive with other fish of similar size like tangs. they become clingy friends and swim along side almost always.
my foxface is a hog. eats everything. my blenny experience has been bad. my 1st (bicolor) got confined to its rock cave by my tomini and starved. now i have a midas who only swims in the open when no humans are around. it darts back to its cave as soon as some one approaches. I have seen so many outgoing blennies but mine never show such behavior.

What made you choose the 625 instead of the 750? I'm looking at either of those two tanks for my first tank and I can't make up my mind which to get.
