I believe our sailfin and purple tang have ich. We have a mixed reef and catching them and qting them is not an option. Someone recommended metroplex to treat it. Has anyone used metroplex to treat ich? If so was it successful and did it have any adverse reactions on your corals or inverts? Do you all have a different treatment you’ve used with success in treating it while the fish are in the DT?
I’m going to post some pics if you all can confirm it is ich and any advice or treatments you’ve used successfully that would be much appreciated!!!
A little background on the fishies. They are fed mixed diet 3 times a day which includes, herbivore frenzy twice a day and tdo c1 and c2 once a day. On top of that they get nori at least twice a day if not three times a day. Nothing has been added to our tank in about a month. No one is fighting and we haven’t changed anything in the tank. They are all still eating fine as well. Being their normal piggy selves.
