I want to convert my fowlr tank to a reef tank and i’m wondering what i need to do and if it’s worth it to put in the work to get corals and if i need to lower my salinity some how

I would check out the different brs beginner series on YouTube. Should give you a pretty good idea as to what gear you would need to upgrade and everything else you would need to start doing for a reef. Deciding what type of corals you want to keep will help you figure out what gear you need as well. Very doubtful you need to lower salinity. Most people keep their reefs around 34-35ppt salinity.
