I added a orchid dottyback three dats ago and it hssnt come out since

I got my orchid dottyback from the fish shop three days ago and now I've added shim to my tank I haven't seen him swimming around. I do know that they like to sit In rocks and hide but is it unusual to them to to come out of there cave for three days strate. Even when I feed him

Yes I have seen him he is hiding in this little cave and not moving from it. I have two clownfish, blue tang and a bicolor blenny. The water parameters are all stable and are fine. And my tank doesn't have a smell

Okay, as long as he is eating and not getting attacked he should start to come out once he feels more secure, are there plenty of hiding spots?
