Those look like pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders that typically show up in newer tanks.I am finding these white oval looking (what I assume to be) eggs. I found them on one rock and now I am finding them all over. What are they, are they bad, what do to get rid of them if needed?
Don't worry about them they are harmless filter feeders that normally appear in a mature tank with a good amount of bacterioplankton if anything its a good sign. If you don't like them you could scrape them away but I leave them in my systems. So not to worry? Or should I be doing something to rid them or keep them away? Are they cause by to much nutrients?
