I found this little guy hanging out on my tabletop acropora. I blew him off last night and today this afternoon he was back on it. I don't know what exactly he is. Good? Bad? It looks like he has a shell. If someone could give me an answer I'd really appreciate it, thanks. I'll post pics.

I can't tell - snail or crab?
I can't tell either. At first I thought it was a baby snail bc I have quite a few of them in the tank. But after keeping an eye on it, the coral doesn't seem to react to it much. I have an acro crab in one of my acros and it's doing fine. I'm just going to keep an eye on it. Hopefully I'm not making a mistake and waiting for it to lay eggs.

Looks like a filter feeding bivalve. If it managed to swim back into that spot, it's most likely a scallop of some type, as they can actually swim. Almost guaranteed completely harmless, probably wants to be in that spot since SPS usually get good flow, it means they get a good spot for filter feeding.
