All For Reef takes care of most of my dosing needs. I use the kamoer dosing pump with it.
Aside from that I add a little bit of nitrates and iodide to my top off water to keep up my numbers.
If aminos counts as dosing, I also like to feed AB+ every few days.

I dose kalk though an avast stirrer plus 2 part for calcium and alkalinity control. Just a few weeks ago, I started dosing vinegar to hopefully control nitrates and phosphates (I once again had a negative GFO experience). I also “dose” trace elements via AWC system.

I thought kalkwasser was all you needed for calcium and alk control? Or do you not have a continuous doser adding it?

This is my question….if I’m told not to add anything I can’t test for, and I can’t test for trace elements, why does a lot of people dose them? Is it possible to OD the tank on them?

I was manually dosing AFR and Elmi-NP but recently weaned my tank off carbon dosing so just AFR twice a day now.

I manually dose MB7 if I notice spots of cyano showing up since it seems to help if I catch it early, but that's very occasional.

Although I do have a dosing pump (two actually), I haven't been brave enough to automate. So many tank crashes seem to be caused by dosing pump failures. The minute that I convince myself that I can do it safely, I'll take dosing off my daily to-do list!

My tank is mostly zoas lps and a couple sps so my calcium does not go down fast like alkalinity does. Just from adding trace my calcium is 450

Kalkwasser is great and is what I use when I start any tank. But, at some point, kalk alone doesn’t provide enough calcium and alkalinity for my tanks, so I also use 2 part.

This is the main reason I use only water changes to add back trace elements. Back in the day, my friend killed some amazing fish with what we believe was too much iodine dosing.

I'm curious to see a before and after tank image prior to using all of those products? I image you have to be SPS dominated to be dosing all of that. Plus how do you trust a fish sitter with that instruction list if you travel. I can hardly get my girlfriend to put a cube and add freshwater rodi. Reason I do weekly dosing of mag and Trace.

I use the Tunze ATO for freshwater top off.
Bubble Magus for Calcium, Alk, and Mag. (I am not actually dosing Mag at the moment as it is like 1600)
Hand dosing trace elements as it is a relatively small amount I think it is going to be 1 ml per day. (Tropic Marin A and K)

ab+ and I am convinced it does good things for acropora
Iodine
Strontium
Aqua Medic Trace C

Running calcium reactor and some carbon. I dose manually, the AB+ daily and I dip the fish's morning feeding in it, the elements I add if the tank seems to 'want' something. Its not very scientific but I'm really happy with the health and growth of the corals.
How long have you been using ab+ ?
