Id call it roasted lol.
If it came in with visable stn I would contact the seller.
Best bet would be to frag above the stn, mount, and see what happens imo.
If it survives as is, you may have created a new stn cure, called the "coffee dip" lol.

Is the coral still awake???
Likely went into immediate shock. best I can say is to place it in tank in moderate water flow and heavy blue light/acclimation mode and see which direction it goes.

I would cut the top right tip-off and the 2 left tips off make sure to leave some good tissue on the base! Throw base out! Glue the two nubs on two small pieces of rubble! Place at bottom of the tank in low to moderate light for a few days make sure it gets some random flow. If you don't cut into good tissue it's a goner for sure! Good luck
