I have been QTing for about 4 months now, and haven't ever found anything on the frags I have received, so I have been kinda bumbed that I have spent all this work doing it.
Till today!
It finally paid off - I found this on an encrusting montipora - I just don't know what it is. It is surprisingly big, about 3cm - tapered tail, with a roundish head and mouth (which seem to be one in the same) it looks like it has "teeth" coming out the front part of it's head/mouth.
I cut the frag all apart to see if I could find anymore or eggs, but this was it. Then threw it out - it was an expensive one too :(

So I am obviously stoked I QTed it. But now figure it might be good to know what it is so I can treat the QT tank before I put anything else in it. It only has some acans in it now.

I planned on picking up some fish here in the next week. But I guess I'll wait till I get the QT treated properly before doing that now.

It slithers along pretty quick.

I am pretty sure it is a flatworm, just not sure what type.

I tried to kill it with a super concentrated mix of revive, but it was still kickin' after 15min. Its in a small container by itself right now getting nuked.

I'm treating it as such. I don't know if any got in the QT tank or if it was the only one, but I put flatworm exit in there. There is only a couple acans in it right now, so it shouldn't hurt anything.
Plus its only 30g, so it didn't cost much to treat it.
I either way its getting nuked. :xd:
