Hello all.. I order this off of a live sale and its a Wipeout chalice. And I noticed something odd growing on it. They grow along a viny path around the plug. Hoping someone knows if its good or bad.

They will contract when taken out of water. I thought that to..just unsure of what they are

I agree with the other posters. They can and will become a major pest if left unchecked. I'd seriously consider taking that out of water, carefully scraping them off as best you can and then use a syringe or pipette to cover them in hydrogen peroxide. Use caution to keep the H202 off the chalice. let it sit on the area for several minutes then rinse in a bowl of tank water. You can then safely return the chalice to your tank, but I'd keep an eye on it to make sure they don't come back.
