I’ll chime in again, I got acantho, blastos, and twice got Asian acans from Ben at BSA, and never had an issue with things not looking as expected. He provides accurate pics and even video of the items and I’ve never been disappointed. The opposite actually. It always exceeds my expectations and that’s hard to do.

Regardless of how you feel about the prices, I’ve never heard a bad word about the quality of corals from bsa or their service. I’m not sure I’ll ever own a 3k dollar Acantho but I know where I would buy one if I did.

$2K scoly

I don't want to buy another cynarina. They get injured too easily with the bony skeleton and not a lot of flesh
You made me get a scoly lol

If you notice, I’m now elevating almost every lps off the sandbed to reduce potential worm issues.

In last pic, left to right, now elevated are:
medium acantho, lobophyllia, Cynarina, scolymia, trachyphyllia.

I have seen no negative effects. interestingly, my gold Cynarina that’s elevated, has a unique shape unlike any other Cynarina in my tank. its more of a poofy dome, instead of a flat pancake.

Also my acantho has been elevated for weeks, and has no sign of stress. It just extends and opens normally

If you suspect bristleworms have caused / contributed to issues then I would suggest you experiment like me. I am convinced they caused my acantho issues. I’m. Elevating. Everything.
