I bought the core 7 4L dry bulk package. I accidentally mixed the 1B bottle with the #2 powder bag. It caused the solution to radiate heat, telling me there is a chemical reaction going on. The bottle of 1B is meant to be mixed with the #1 powder. Am I screwed?? Can I not waste $150 and use this solution? Or do I need to re-order?

The heating up of the solution is normal and expected when mixing occurs.

Yea I can't answer your real question of is the product no longer viable.
Hopefully Julian@triton will read this and have an answer.

Until then just wait and don't use it.

No you are not screwed ;)

I spoke with Ehsan about this and he advised the following. You need to double the amount of RO water for every liquid to avoid any complications and then dose double the amount of all components until you use them up.

Happy reefing
