Hey guys, I'm currently setting up a 150 gallon tank with sump, and ran into an issue. I need to connect a 5/8 in. ID hose to a 3/4 in. ID hose. No hardware store or even amazon can find me such a thing that is aquarium safe. 71Qkzhl1RIL._AC_SL1500_.jpg
This is the closest thing I can find in existence. I need this in reef safe PLASTIC. My return line/bulkhead is 3/4 in. My Canister filter hooked to an external UV light is 5/8 in. I've tried looking at landscaping pipe, pvc, you name it. I've bought tons of adapters and fittings trying to screw something together, but no one wants to connect hoses of difference sizes I guess. Any ideas?

Are you bulkheads slip or threaded?

Do you have space to go 3/4 to 3/4 PVC then use a 3/4PVC to 5/8 barb fitting? You may need to go 3/4"x5/8" threaded and thread in the barb.

Basically, this is what I'm trying to connect together. Half my lines are one, and half are the other. They HAVE to come together somewhere.

Thank you so much, I'll try the two you guys linked. I've been at this for days endlessly hitting the hardware stores

I tried using this at first, but I didn't see the threads were off and it wouldn't fit unfortunately.

I bought lots of these for boats and aquariums.
