I think number 1 as well for the reasons already said, but you have to look at it and it’s very much personal preference.

And welcome to R2R as well by the way!

I'm liking the first one the most.
I prefer a front light scape and +1 on backing upa bit from the glass for servicing purpose as well as to have more space for the corals on those rocks.

Remove that middle tall double wall look. Weirdly symmetrical in the middle and too high up. Leave some room for corals to grow up. Break off one of them and round the other off at the top edges.

I like 1 as well but im a height person when it comes to rocks. I love how the rock comes up to just about the return flow. You may not be able to grow a frag right smack dab on top but in my opinion, it looks better in the tank. Plus, you can place them lower and get a branching one so it will blend :)

Thanks for taking your time to reply

I ended up with number one, and kept the "tower"

At the end of the day its what you prefer. I generally don't like symmetry and learned a long time ago give yourself room on the glass.

I desided the first one, but made sure to arrange it with more space around the glass.

I might invent in a few flat plates and attach them the the background to, get some shelf like structures. But time will tell.

The tank is in the beginning af the cycle, so Just being patience.

Kind Regards

Thomas

My choice would be for # 1 as well. Love the looks of it from the top down plus very symmetrical, nice open area for the fish to swim in the front, and for viewing, and looks like it will be easier to clean the front and sides of the glass.

Prior to filling with water, place the rocks and make sure your glass scrapper has ample room to move freely without disturbing the aquascape. Great looking rock also!!!

if you are growing SPS it will be tough with the towers as there is little vertical room left for growth. I would use less rock
