Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out because I need some help with my 250-gallon (1000 liters) marine aquarium, which I’ve had for about a year now. All my water parameters are stable and within recommended ranges:

- **Salinity**: 1.025
- **Nitrate**: 5.3 ppm
- **Ammonia**: 0
- **KH**: 8.3 dKH
- **Temperature**: 24.5 °C
- **Phosphate**: 0.03 ppm
- **Calcium**: 425
- **Magnesium**: 1300

These readings stay consistent, with no dramatic changes.

**Lighting Setup:**
- Two Reef Flare M-size lights in the middle, one Hydra 64 on the left, and one Radion XR30 G6 on the right.
- I matched the Hydra 64 HD to the Radion’s AB+ settings using a YouTube tutorial. For the Reef Flares, I set them up manually to approximate AB+ settings as best I could.

**Flow & Circulation:**
- Two Jebao wave makers: one set to F50 and the other to F32. The stronger and weaker settings help create a current across the tank.

**Water Changes:**
- I perform a 10% water change every 1-2 weeks.

**Dosing & Feeding:**
- **All for Reef** (Tropic Marine) at 12 ml daily.
- 16 ml (8 sprays) of **Elimi-NP** daily to reduce nitrate and phosphate, with the dose gradually lowered as nitrates stabilize.

For coral feeding, I use Tropic Marine products:
- **Phyton**: 2 small spoons daily for soft corals
- **Zooton**: 2 small spoons daily for stony corals

My fish are fed 3-4 times daily: twice with dry food, once with seaweed, and once with frozen food.

**The Problem:**
Despite stable water parameters, I’m experiencing slow coral growth, and some corals die suddenly without an obvious cause. It feels like there’s an underlying issue in the tank, even though the test results look good.

Sometimes I get professional but I am not in a country where there is little interest in corals. So help sometimes seems not that good and experts aren't that experienced.

Any insights on what could be going wrong or suggestions for things I should check? I’d really appreciate the help—thanks in advance!

Looks to me like everything is in order. Your GSP, Blastomussa and Zoanthid polyps are all open.
Growing coral takes time, you can try target feeding although I wouldn't over do it.
Things like reef roids, Red Sea A & B + coral food is good. But I would go to you LFS and stock more Coral because you definately have the room for some more fast growing softies like toadstools and Xenia would be my next choice if you want some faster gratification BUT Xenia can overwelm whatever you grow it on and Toadstools get huge taking a lot of real-estate you may want to use for harder to keep nicer corals once the tank is more mature and established.

There could be something on the corals like flatworm or different type of microorganism that’s irritating the coral that causes it to die. Do you do Coral dip

I’m not a coral expert I’m mostly a fish/invert person I do have a hammer and some softies so I could be wrong Try looking really closely at the coral if you see some red, brown or white (most of them are that colour) little flat things on your coral that look abnormal those could be flat worms. I don’t really know how to check for other types hope that helps
