Well shall see. It is not part of my color plan. I do not have a good spot for it and they grow way too fast for me. Anywhere I would put it with my amount of rock would shade something. If it turns out to be a cap, you can have it.
Yes, they grow like weeds and kill everything on their way.

When I click on your build thread badge it takes me to “the Mackenzie tapes”?

Are you being slick?
Yes! You you are the first to find my Easter Egg! I change it up every so often. Enjoy the live punk music!

Found some interesting things in the tank earlier today.

(1) CC Infection Montipora
Out of nowhere this dead remnant colored up and looks better than ever. Go figure.

I know, I said I did not want a red, plating Montipora. Well, I already have one with nice blue polyps.

(2) Coralline
Several tiny, new spots of bright pink coralline popped up this morning. Not a great picture, but you can see the color.

(3) This guy
Long ago, way in the back of the tank out of the acceptable range of my iPhone camera this thing popped out the the live rock. Well, today he returned. No idea what he is. I assumed a coral, but he actually looks more like a Rock Flower Anemone. Not saying that is what he is, but he is not like any coral I can readily identify.

New Montipora look awesome still. I absolutely love the way these two compliment each other. Better than I had imagined, actually.

These two should compliment each other nicely as well.

I know it's a bad pic, a long shot, and too early to say... but the banding that appears to be stripping out from the center, and "fleshy-looking" donut disk, it really strikes Scoly to me brian. What a score that would be man.

Right! Something round and smooth like that. Not a Zoa, Acan or anything like that. I will kill the flow tomorrow and see if I can get a top down.

Great findings Caveman, happy accidents... first an aip, then you did better. lol
It is so funny how everything popped up today. I did nothing unusual yesterday. It was an LRS feeding day. That was the only real variable.
