I once built a pico AIO out of an Aqueon 2.5 gallon because everyone once told me it couldn’t be done. That was 6 years ago and I have since taken it down.

I have seen other contests like this on here but haven’t seen one in a while. Who is up for another one?

Think we should keep it simple:
1) maximum budget
2) has to be less than or equal to 3 gallons (no plumbing to other systems)
3) grow out contest of 3 coral types (cheaper ones like mushroom, GSP/Xenia, and....)
4) must include one invert (Pom Pom, sexy shrimp, etc.)
5) time frame: 3 weeks to build, 1 month to cycle, 6 month grow/maintain contest
6) must be fresh rock/water/sand no stealing from established systems.

Other ideas? Modifications to above?

Who’s in?

Wouldn’t a sponsor for a prize be cool?

Perfect timing. My son just got a 3 gallon for Christmas. Would y'all let us enter as a team? He's 11 and still needs help with some stuff.

I hadn’t thought about it, what budget do you think works? How do you account for extra supplies lying around the house?

$100-$150 ? Too high ?
