Hello all,

I embarked on my saltwater adventure over 5 years ago all with the goal of mastering every step until I could insure a perfect seahorse environment.
About 3 month ago I felt I had reached that point and acquired my first group of sea-ponies.

There are several reasons why I have chosen to do a split tank. If you have a question related to this topic, I will try to answer.

Very nicely done. You took all the proper precautions to keep the seahorses segregated while still having good water volume. I also like your feeding station. Very well done, and, good luck!!!

How many holes in the center divider? Do you just use a algae scraper? What do you do with their offspring?

very nice tank and love the idea. I would keep seahorse again but my other pair would breed once a month and I just didn’t know what to do with them…

The divider is an acrylic 18x21 perforated board with slats on the top end. I use a magnetic scrubber and do scrape as needed. I haven't had any fry yet. I just started this part of my hobby.
