2 weeks ago I purchased a couple of firefish they looked fine but as other firefish they are afraid of showing themselves in the beginning.
This morning i was looking at them as usual when I was surprised to find that the 2 of them have i think the famous ich problem!
All the rest of the tank look fine.. Even the firefish do,no fast breathing or any other thing.
Also i noticed that the back tail of one of them is bitten,i am sure it is that dottyback!!

I was thinking if it will help if I tried to remove my firefish from the tank?will
I save my DT from ich?
Or it is already done?the parasite is settled in my tank??

I tried to fish them out but hell! In less than a second they are in their LR cave..
Thank you :)

The parasite, Cryptocaryon irritans will remain in your display until you leave the display fallow (without fish) for 6-8 weeks. The parasite must have fish present to complete the life cycle.

Well I think I am among the ones that want to learn in the hard way..
QT tank was always advised and here I am with ich now in my DT

I am in the middle of my final exams.. I need to set up a quarantine tank, and remove all the fish,to remove them I should remove all my LR setup..

I hope it is a false alarm.. and it won't explode

Thank you Kworker for your link! :) I am reading it :)
and thank you tahoe61 for always helping me
