Ich or velvet I need to dose ASAP???

Good thing is you can treat aggressively and cover either ich or velvet, as treatment is a little similar...
That said, looks undoubtedly like velvet to me. I’ve dealt with it many times, and when it affects a fish that much and the spots are stop numerous, it’s totally velvet.

The disease
I trusted a local fish store when purchasing the tang didn’t qt him myself but I also suspect it could’ve came on a coral because a few days after adding a new coral the spots began to show up on the tang...but to tell you exactly where the disease came from ...not sure 100% tbh

Got an API copper test it seems like I’m at .50 based on my judgement which is the recommended dose for cupramine

another update guys it seems like the tang might have black ich ?? If anyone could identify this in the pic I would appreciate it thanks! And do you guys recommend a freshwater dip on him???

Hey guys I have an update and some good news the sailfin is doing much better and so are the rest of the fish...been treating with copper for 6 days now and seems like most of the ich on the sailfin has moved into the next phase and dropped...so far so good everyone is eating really well
