Is it possible to ID algae at its early life stage? This is in a newly established tank. I'm not too worried about it as the CUC will do its job, I'm just curious. I see two distinct types growing on the glass. Could one be bryopsis? Or are they just hair algae. I'm hoping for brypsis so I can get some lettuce nudibranches.
