Kinda looks like bubble algae, but not 100%. Its almost as if it looks like the bubbles were crushed and are now deformed. Anyways if it is, an emerald crab should be able to help clear it up.

Guess not in my case left them off my list bc I have abt 10 and none touch it. Would an urchin help maintain?
Wouldn’t be able to tell you, I know about the hermits as I was trying to grow some in my fuge and they just kept on eating it. They weren’t the fancy blue or red legs just the standard brown ones, they seem to eat more variety of algae’s.
