I have this green macro growing in the corner of my seahorse tank. It seems to be growing straight up where it is. I think it may be acetabularia because it has branches and small cups.
Just looking for an ID so I can make sure I can keep it growing.

IDK - I've only seen one species of Acetabularia, and that one has larger cups, and the stems arise from a base, not off of each other like that.

The picture angle is not the best but I don’t think it’s the mermaids cup, that grows in a different format.

The small cups are way it branches are why I think it isn't acetabularia.
I don't think it's racemosa because its not round or in clusters.
Hard to get clear pictures because it's in the corner but maybe these are better.

OK. Well that is it. Lol.
I was seeing racemosa as round and bunches like grapes.
Thanks!

My avatar is acetabularia from my tank. Sprouts once a year, lives a month and then disappears till it sprouts again next year. I usually forget I have it till it's back. This particular one is 3 inches tall and the cap is 5/8" diameter. Hard to miss or mistake..
