This new algae popped up this week. When I take a turkey baster to it, it comes back in about 30 minutes to an hour. My tank has been up and running for over a year now. It had a bout of ich recently and is currently fallow. I also had an outbreak of flatworms that I treated a few weeks back with Flatworm eXit. My parameters have all been stable throughout this with alk~9, nitrates 5, phosphates 0.04ish. I just turned the lights out yesterday and I'm seeing if a dark period gets rid of it.

I did lights off x 3 days and dosed H2O2 2 times daily. Now gone. Trying to test twice weekly now to keep my nutrients up higher. I think with the fallow period and not feeding daily like I did with fish my nutrients probably dropped at some point.
