Not a damsel. Looks like a young fusilier (Caesio sp.), not to be confused with the fusilier damselfish (Lepidozygus tapeinosoma). These are enormous schooling fish that grow over a foot long and prey on smaller fish and invertebrates. LiveAquaria recommends a minimum 250 gallon aquarium.I can't tell from the first image (too blurry), but it could be a yellow tail or azure damsel (the second one where he's spooked in the tiny container doesn't help).
