Looking to supplement my v2+ without burning up my shrooms!
Dont want or need alot of par. Just need something thats going to help carry even par out to edges but stay around 50-100 par.
I run brs reccomended schedule for my lamp. My shrooms love it. I'm looking for bulbs that will accentuate that. I dont want to have to change setting on my lamp.
Something decent that's going to put out healthy spectrum but blend with my setting im already using.

Man if they only made this for HO bulbs. Wouldn't be having this discussion if I'd went with the dimmable version. Something like this would be awesome!

to lower the par… just use a housing that does not have a reflector.
Never though about that. I'm going to take a look tonight and see how easy it would be to remove the reflectors. It could possibly get me where I need to be. Currently trying to sell fixture and get dimmable strips and not sure how much I want to do with it.

What kind of Spectrum or Kelvin do these bulbs put out?
Running brs schedule for my lamp is heavy blue. What im noticing with mostly the blue+ bulb is im adding to much blue. I could change my v2+ settings and dull the blue down but my shrooms prefer the v2+ spectrum over the blue +.
Looking for something that will put a little 14k or maybe some UV in the mix

Don't know about PAR values as they are depending on other factors than just bulb, but I like the look Giesemann azure t5 bulbs.
Are you running only T5 or LED hybrid?
Do you have picture to show how it looks in tank?

Shut down and sold my system 3 months ago. Now waiting for things to get normal and start my new dreantank project. Used to run these bulbs with MH, but could not get them locally anymore so switched to ATI-bulbs but preferred the Giesseman look. Found a video that includes them in a test/review: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/v...giesemann-t5-all-combination-possible.711694/
