I have had my corals couple of weeks now and under blues, I noticed this little fella amongst my green Star polyp..., On my inspection it appears to be a feather duster , I hope
Apologies for pictures but best I could do it's tips glow up under blue lights... Orangey but this is very small, still on frag plug. Thanks

I have a red splatter bullseye mushroom again still on frag plug and I noticed today 2-3 vermetidae snails on it, unfortunately I did not take photos, I removed by (placed coral in aquarium water..in a pot) and chiseled/ removed all after replacing back into aquriam, my mushroom was changing shape and doing all kinds of weird stuff... Anyone seen this before... 1st photo on day I received about 1 week ago... To last is today ( mushroom) it center was a hole but today the center was like a volcano spitting out white stuff?

(I noticed the vermetidae snail as it was, spitting out white dots.. I'm assuming these was babies... I'm going to keep a close eye on all of my aquarium as now I'm little worried)

Under blues, I seen my hermit crab lighting up.. orange on his shell? I took him out and gave him a scrub it appears green under white light but orange under blues, he had 2 dots of orange and these algae looking things growing off it was also florescent orange under blues?

Thanks in advance, other than that aquarium is doing great :).

The mushroom appears to be expelling Zooxanthellae, from stress I’m guessing.

this looks like a ball anemone to me.

I’m not able to make out the strands on the hermit’s shell. They look skinny and small even for vermitid snails but if they have a swirl shape base then that’s most likely what they are.

Thank you, mushroom was in aquriam water all the time but this is great to know, it was fascinating to watch it change shape throughout the day, I guess I upset it somehow due to removal of snails thanks.
My phone won't focus on 10x zoom, what's a ball anemone, good or bad, it's in the main area of my polyps so will be very hard to remove

Thanks, I only noticed as it glowed up under blues, I seen a couple of dots on his shell then these strands after I picked him up, best way to explain is under white they appear green, under blues they are orange, I thought maybe green Star multiplying but they are green under blues, I gave him a small scrub with toothbrush, I'll keep an eye on him

Hmm the strands on the shell are fluorescent? Couldn’t be vermitid then.
the ball anemone is okay, I’ve never seen them act aggressive towards other corals or inverts, I believe it’s actually a mushroom but gets the name from its resemblance.

So ball nem is ok from reading?, as long as it's controlled, I brought all corals from highly reputable place but yet I have vermitaed snails, green hair algae since buying :(.
What closer pics would you like, if my hermit lights up tomorrow under blues I will gladly send , thank you all

I would say more pics of the shell, I’m curious to find out what those strands are. Are they soft or hard feeling?
