Thank You for your reply. As for the cure using hydrogen peroxide? Here in the county where I live I am not familiar with any one using this so far. I do read about it people using it in other country’s ..Osteoporosis.
Prepare by starting with a water change and blow this stuff loose with a turkey baster and siphon up loose particles.
Turn lights off (at least white and run blue at 10-15%) for 5 days and at night dose 1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for all 5 nights. If you dont have light dependent coral- turn all lights off.
During the day dose 1ml of liquid bacteria (such as bacter 7) per 10 gallons.
Clean filters daily and DO NOT FEED CORAL FOODS OR ADD NOPOX as it is food for dinos.
Day 5,, you can start with blue lights - ramping up and work your white lights up slowly
I hit the 0 also... nitrate was at 10-15 ... This is what start kicked the issue I believe. Also my RO water wasn’t clean.. I had silicate in the tank .. This also didn’t help.. the Dinos don’t explode in the tank yet.. I believe it’s a minor issue so far... I try to sifon out as much as I can ..I agree they look like Osteoporosis. You can confirm as they are the only ones that spin around on their "tips".
I got them after my Po4 bottomed out. I dosed phosphate to ~.05-.07 and they went away slowly after about a month. I would also do manual removal every day, as much as I could.
